Rescue Squad 851

851 is a 2000 Ford/Braun Ambulance and serves as the secondary rescue squad for emergency medical calls and is the primary rescue squad that responds to the scene of a fire call. 851 like 852 carrys all the equipment needed to provided treatment for people.

852 is a 2006 Ford/Braun Ambulance. It is an intermediate life support vehicle that responds to all emergency medical calls. 852 carrys all the needed equipment to provided treatment for people on the scene and on the way to the hospital.

Truck 855

Truck 855

855 is a 1997 GMC 3500 series van that can carry 15 Passengers. 855 is used during the day by the fire inspectors while conducting daily fire inspections and fire prevention duties thoughout the village and town of Grafton. The van is also used by fire department personnel for transportation to and from fire school, and to shuttle fire fighters and equipment to an emergency.

Command 856

Command 856

856 is a 2008 Ford Expedition. Its primary duty is to respond to all fire incidents and acts as a mobile command unit for the on duty fire chief.

Truck 857

857 is a 1991 Ford F-350 4x4 with a 85 gpm pump and 250 gallons of water. 857's primary duty is to respond to grass fires in the village and town. 857 can also be used to transport the rescue boats or the Confined Space/Trench Rescue Trailer.

Ladder Company 860

Ladder Company 860

860 is a 1993 Pierce Lance with a 105 foot aerial ladder. 860 does not carry a pump or a water tank. 860 is the second truck that responds to a fire scene that deals with buildings. 860 is able to flow 1,000 gpm from the tip of the ladder at any position. 860 also carrys a generator, forceable entry tools, ladders, and ventillation and salvagequipment needed at a fire scene.

Engine Company 863

863 is a 2000 Pierce Lance is the attack engine for all of the department's fire calls except car fires and car accidents. 863 can carry up to 7 fire fighters including an officer and a driver (MPO). 863 has a 1,000 gallon tank and is able to pump 1,500 gpm. 863 has a fold down ladder rack and a hydraulic generator.

864 is a 1991 Pierce Javelin that is the first engine out of the station for any fire call that deals with cars. 864 carrys the jaws of life and other equipment that is needed on the scene of a car accident. 864 has a 1,000 gallon water tank, 1,500 gpm waterous pump, and 30 gallons of AFFF foam.

865 is a 2002 Pierce Dash pumper that has a 1,000 gallon water tank and a 2,000 gpm waterous pump. 865 carrys 30 gallons of Class A foam and a hydraulic generator to supply power to the scene. 865 also has a fold down 3,000 gallon portable tank and a fold down ladder rack. 865 primary function on the fire ground is to supply high volume water to the engines and ladder trucks.

866 is a water supply engine with a 1500 gpm pump and 2,000 gallons of water. 866's job on the fire ground is to lay a supply line to the attack engine and supply the attack engine with water. 866 has a 3,000 portable tank and also carrys spare jaws of life equipment. 866 is also used to shuttle water to locations where water is not readily available.

Trench Rescue Trailer

The Grafton Fire Department runs an active confined space/trench rescue program that stores and responds to emergencies in a 1999 Pace America trailer. The trailer was donated to the department by the Grafton Lions Club and was painted by Heinz 57 in Grafton. The trailer carries supplies, material, and specialized equipment needed during a confined space or trench rescue emergency.

Rescue Boats

The Grafton Fire Department rescue boats consist of a 14' Aluma Craft with a 25 hp Johnson outboard motor and a 12' Zodiac boat with a 6 hp Mercury outboard motor. Both craft are used for water rescue emergencies.
